The sailing school maintains a fleet of more than 75 boats, including sailboats and safety boats. We have a wide range of sailboats to suit a variety of needs. Youth sailors are introduced to sailing with Prams and Optimists. Prams are simple to operate and provide plenty of opportunities to grow in skill and confidence.
As the students progress, they will move up to Optis. This boat is the perfect introduction to racing as it combines a similar feel to the Pram, yet begins to introduce the students to more advanced sailing controls and techniques. For junior high school sailors, we have 420’s, a two-person dinghy that carries spinnaker and trapeze. We also have a J24, and new J70.
